I sat down on the bank the grass was damp a little then I found my shoes wet (2004)
A trio for two women and one man, I sat down is about sharing and inhabiting space, and exploring the shadowy, unused corners of the unique interior architecture of St. Mark’s Church-in-the-Bowery. In I sat down, Bartosik intended to offer the audience an experience that made them feel the heat of summer in their bodies, and the sweetness of the sounds of frogs and crickets to offset the unrest in the world outside the theater.
